There is no better way to experience The National Park and Historic Yorktown than taking a stroll with a Historian.

This unique, fun experience will focus on historically accurate information regarding topics relevant to the Revolutionary and Civil War eras with a focus on events specific to Yorktown.  Interesting historical information and insights not typically found in history books will also enhance these professional tours.

History Hike: Water Street and Tobacco Road

11am - 12pm
$10 per person
(Children under the age of 12 are free)

 

Take a walk through Yorktown’s many layers of history as you learn about the establishment of the tobacco port, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the twentieth-century patriotic celebrations of the British surrender.

*Meet at Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters and Petite Café to start.
*Must be able to walk on uneven terrain for an hour.
*Must wear appropriate shoes and dress for the weather.
*Bring a water bottle.
