There is no better way to experience The National Park and Historic Yorktown than taking a stroll with a Historian.

This unique, fun experience will focus on historically accurate information regarding topics relevant to the Civil War with a focus on events specific to Yorktown and the historic buildings, the Battlefields, and influential historical figures. Interesting historical information and insights not typically found in history books will also enhance these professional tours.

 

Join us as we explore Yorktown during the Civil War era.  The Peninsula Campaign of 1862 pitted two colorful commanders against each other over a Revolutionary War battlefield deploying such modern technologies as aerial observation and improvised explosive devices. 

 

 

Meet at Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters and Petite Cafe to start.

Must be able to walk at a leisurely pace with stops along the way for 1 hour.
