Road to Revolution Walking Tour

From Governor Dunmore’s departure from the capital in Williamsburg in May 1775 to his arrival on HMS Fowey at the Port of Yorktown on June 8, 1775, Virginia was on the road to revolution! This tour will discuss how the citizens of Yorktown sided on the patriot cause, who fought for that cause and the role Yorktown played in the dramatic climax of the American Revolution on October 19th, 1781.
*Tour will begin at Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters
*Must be able to walk at a leisurely pace for an hour with stops along the way
*Children 12 and under FREE, must be accompanied by parent, please add # of children attending in notes section during purchase
